Received first copy of Red Dragon on an oversized box, obvious corner damage from being shipped loosely in box; politely asked CS to send another and stated the issue. They send a second copy in THE SAME WAY, same issues with corner damage. Ask for a THIRD copy again state that the boxes they ship in are too large and without packing. It came “double boxed” but the inside box was still the same with a loose book just flying around lol. This time corners weren’t damaged somehow, but there was an obvious manufacturing defect and the book had a canted spine. What is even going on with Easton Press? Not really sure what to do at this point; I think I’m just going to keep “the best” one…..
Tried to post an image of the oversized boxes, but LT is still terrible at image uploads.

That's not how Red Dragon originally shipped. It came in a standard white EP shipping box, form fit to the book, like normal. If EP is shipping stuff like that, it most likely means that thry are shipping returned items, seconds, or other non-prime copies. Call them on it. Tell them you want a new copy, not someone else's return. Yell them you collect the original boxes, too.

>1 mortalalliance: sorry to hear that. I stopped collecting EP books altogether because of nonsense like that. Definitely demand pristine copy, don’t just settle for something your not fully satisfied with.

I've bought several thousands of dollars of EP books over the past couple of years and have never had anything like that happen. My experiences with CS have always been golden. Not sure what's happening with that particular book, but that is pretty crazy.
