Just started Ashes to Ashes, Crust to Crust for NetGalley. Still reading Monastic Practices which is annoying me with the condescending tone of how the monks know better how to do self-discipline, mental prayer, you name it, and the rest of us are too busy with our busy lives to be able to master these practices as well. Also reading At Bertram's Hotel by Dame Agatha.
56rabbitprincess
Today I started The Penelopiad, by Margaret Atwood.
57cindydavid4
read that, liked it.
58lsh63
I'm halfway through The Book of Goose, and four library holds that I expected not to be ready until next month came in: Earth's the Right Place for Love, The White Lady, Trespasses, and 48 Clues into the Disappearance of My Sister. I'm pretty sure one of these will be next, but which one?
60Tanya-dogearedcopy
Finished listening to The Decameron (by Giovanni Boccaccio; narrated by Simon Russell Beale as Boccaccio and a Full Cast) - At 28+ hours long, it took me a couple weeks to make my way through it!

Last week I couldn't read a lot because of migraines, so I am still in the middle of The Golden Compass, but I am enjoying it a lot. I have also started Die Straßen von Wilna by Czesław Miłosz. I finished the first part, which describes the history of Vilnius, and hope to read the remaining two parts next week when we are going to travel there.
As I finished Spare two days ago, I also started a new audiobook: The Autumn Bride by Anne Gracie, and I like it very much so far. It was a BB by christina_reads.
Today I also finished Gedichte - Eine Auswahl, a collection of poems by Johannes Bobrowski. I am still undecided about which poetry collection to choose after this and will probably wait a few days.

I finished Monastic Practices and gave up on The Christie Caper, which had too many obscure quotes from and references to mysteries. These got in the way of the plot for me. I did not like the main character Annie, as she always seemed to be angry or miffed about something. Too bad, since I was looking forward to the book and it had an interesting premise of a mystery conference.
72Tanya-dogearedcopy
I finished up Thirteen Reasons Why (by Jay Asher; narrated by Debra Wiseman & Joel Johnstone) last night and;
Started Troubles (Empire Trilogy #1; by J.G. Farrell; narrated by Kevin Hely) this morning.
