Arrested Development in real life

I just met Steve Holt! I mean, I met a neighbor who's name is Steve Holt.

Side effects of this are me only calling him by his full name, and any time my hubs says his name, I repeat it and throw my fists in the air.

Did he know about the Steve Holt on the show? It would be weird if people came up to me, yelled my name, and threw their arms up into the air and I didn't know why.

I haven't had the guts to ask yet. I will, and I will report back.

I'm loving the thread and am honored to be its subject (sorta). Like I told Sonya, AD has ruined my life, but in a good way. A few years ago, I finally sat down and watched the whole series so that when "people came up to me, yelled my name, and threw their arms up into the air," I didn't have to pretend like I knew what they were talking about. It's a hilarious show, and the fallout from the name coincidence has been a really fun addition to my life.

Confirmed! It was also cool to meet a new neighbor (STEVE HOLT!) who was already on LibraryThing, so I didn't have to start off the "so what do you do" question with "so it's a social cataloging site..."

Steve Holt! is on Library Thing! I think I will start throwing my arms up when I say library thing, too.

I just discovered that Michael Cera was in the area in June filming for a movie! Ray Liotta and Justin Long, too! How could I have missed it!
