Hi, hello!

I am beginning to make my way through this list, and am currently reading Don Quixote. I've read some of the selections already, and will make a point of noting where I'm at as I have a little more time to do so. Is this group still active? Just wondering, as the numbers are small. However, I don't judge a group by its numbers, not at all---enthusiasm is more important!

It is small because I just started it! I thought there might be some people that would interested. So, keep on talking.

I made it through the novels 2003 - 2005, and it was a great journey! Now, I am doing it chronologically, and I am on the last author in the ancient period!

I am now 45% done with the list. It has been a GREAT adventure!

Singerpoet, it took me three years to get through the novel list but I did it. I found some authors that I adore and some I detest. I now consider the classics my favorite genre. I'm currently working through the poetry list but I keep interrupting my poetry reading with more classics and modern novels so I haven't gotten very far. I wish you the best of luck in your reading journey.

Post a brief synopsis for each book you read. Not sure that will bring in any new posters but it couldn't hurt. I'll post a few of my own.

How fun to find this group. Not a lot of activity though. I just discovered Library Thing and now I'm wasting lots of time on it :) I am in a book club that is going through the novels. We are about halfway through the list. Currently working on Anna Karenina. (Love it!)

Mamymamamom - sorry I didn't get back to you. I don't know how to make this group get going. It would be fun to discuss.

I loved Anna Karenina.

I don't check here very often because there are so few messages! So, here yourse has sat since December. So sorry.

I have read about 67 % of the books now. I started in 2003. So, it has been a long and fun journey. I am not trying to brag. I am just plugging along and love to talk anything books!

Carolfoasia, I just found Library Thing and was going to make this group (I was going to call it The Well-Educated Minds haha) but the site suggested checking to see if the group already existed which it did. I saw how tiny it was so I clicked on the book and sent an invite to everyone who gave the book 5-4 stars. Everyone who has joined since me has gotten an invite:)
I'll be sending more to people who haven't rated it.

I read and enjoyed the Well Educated Mind, but I've wandered to my traditional path reading whatever. Today I finished a book that was on its way to the garbage pile, one that the owner of the used book store said wouldnt sell, and it was pretty good. I thought since I finished that book I could start on Anna Karenina since it has been sitting on my shelf long enough. I plan to hit some of Ms. Bauers books regarding history as I've bought a few. But my reading is usually where wind listeth.
