I'm the LT participant part of aulsmith, Billie Aul. The Smith part just has to sit back and decide what to do with all the duplicates I discover. I read a lot of sf/f and write the occasional short story. While I read almost no mundane literature that doesn't have queer content, I'm much less fussy with sf and read pretty universally. I'm currently reading all the John Brunner I never got around to. Taking a break from Brunner, I did read Michael Chabon's The Yiddish Policeman's Union, which did have a queer character though it's not the focus of the book.

Let's see, we live in a big house in upstate New York with thousands of books and no dependents. We're planning to be at Gaylaxicon in Oct. Don't know if any of the rest of you are going.

Loves me some Brunner.

My ID stands for The Rev Dr Sherwood Forrester, a nickname I picked up in MST3K fandom. Living in central Ohio, and never believed my mom when she said I read too much until I actually started cataloging (what I've entered as of 3/1/09 is only scratching the surface...)

I've been an Asimov fan for as long I can remember, got scared off of fantasy by Tolkien and brought back in by Diane Duane and David Eddings.

I co-founded and wrote for a supers fiction 'zine in the early 90s (which ultimately had quite a bit of GLBT content), which got reviewed quite nicely in Comic Buyer's Guide #1000. Still looking for my first professional publication, though.

Welcome, trdsf, and all you others who've joined while I was distracted by other LT activities. (Currently my favorite is splitting.)

We still don't seem to have critical mass for much discussion, but maybe I'll try another topic and see if folks have anything to say.
