Okay, since I see lots of green bars on the NaNo site, figured I'd open the winner's lounge (Thread). We have hot tea and hot Cocoa in the corner, comfy chairs of all sorts, plus those nice green and purple bars to hang on. (Oh, wait, the purples are on back order until the 25th. Drat.)

Once you get that pretty green bar, feel free to post here.
(I know at least two LTers belong in here already!)

Finished the rough draft on the 18th, checked it for typos and had two copies printed yesterday at Staples for editing. Alas, I've already found a section that's out of order.

I've managed to make it into the green, despite a lot of trouble this year! It's quite a relief!

I'm at 78k, but I haven't quite finished yet.

Have reached 56K and the pretty green bar, but the story isn't finished. I have to get my MC to commit to a course of action before it can end. Stubborn cuss won't choose.

Woot!

I got the green bar this year. Most years I go from blue to purple. I got the early pitstop this year. *Begin kermit the frog imitation* YEAH! *End imitation*

So I got through chapter 3 of my 8 chapter plan...
Anyone else run into that problem?

Chapters? Oops, I knew there was something I forgot to do. Oh, goody, there's the remaining 1000 words I need to write before going to bed tonight.

Oh, wait, this thread is only for those who've won the green bar. Sorry, didn't mean to intrude ~ except to say congratulations all! You are all just awesome!

Well, I didn't get a green bar. Went straight from blue to purple, same as last year. I'm such a bad procrastinator, I doubt I'll ever get one.

*stands polishing the purple bar, passing out calming teas and choclates.*

Don't miss the thank you baskets in the corner.

Hurray for everyone!

Yes! *doing the happy dance and punching fists in air* Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh, yes!

Congratulations to everyone who earned the purple bar. Yay, us!

I finished with one hour left in the month. Incredible! And I wrote the last 10K in the last two days. Now I need a nap. And wrist splints. Tomorrow, I'm not going to type a single word.

Not to make anyone hate their output, but according to one member in Maryland, his last word count was:

1,002,374 words.

Way to go everyone!

And to those who started and didn't finish, even if you only wrote a few hundred or a few thousand words - it's more than you would have written if you had never tried at all!

Congratulations To All!!

Yep, I got the green and the purple bar this year. And, my novel is finished.

Now to editing...

Congrats to you all!

I finished with 83,000 and some-odd words and have a totally finished novel sitting on my jump drive. It needs a LOT of editing -- probably an astounding amount -- but I'm relieved to have hit my goal!

Congratulations to everyone!

I finished with a very respectable 50,355 words. Yay! Now I'm sad because I no longer have the drive to write like crazy every day.

Congratulations, everyone! I'm feeling kind of let down too, though it's nice to be able to read again. :)

I just signed up for a 2-year novel-writing course/challenge on Forward Motion. Starting Jan. 1, 2009 and going forward through Dec. 2010 (!), I'll again be forced to write every day, or at least every week.

Here's the NaNo thread where zette posts about it: http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/node/3145309
