This is all very exciting and I can't wait to see if I'm up to the task! I'm already taking part in the 75 book challenge so I figured the paranormal 999 challenge wouldn't be that hard. Since I pretty much read only paranormal novels this should help out with both my challenges.

My Catagories are as follows:

Paranormal Fantasy
Witches/Psychics
Vampires
Monster Mash (just a variety of books recommended by friends)
Zombies and Demons
Paranormal Young Adult
Ghosts
Immortals
Paranormal Series Firsts ( Books that mark the start of new series)

I am impressed with your list! I see a lot of great books on there that I loved reading Funke's series, Charlaine Harris, Candace Havens, Julie Kenner, Kimberly Raye- didn't see those books of hers, so thanks for the tip, and one of my first authors to introduce me to the beauty of paranormal- MJD (MaryJanice Davidson.

I have looked at Kim Harrison and Gerry Bartlett for a while now. Have you read some of their stuff already and enjoy it, or giving it a shot? I've also read some of Erin McCarthy's non-para stuff and liked it, and have been meaning to buy her Vegas Vampire stuff.

Um... long post to say: YES! Me likey what you have and I'm definitely taking some recommendations from you as I have a lot of stuff to fill in still. :)

12.The Remains of the Dead by Wendy Roberts.
Review: For Sadie Novak blood and guts is a regular part of her evreyday life. You see Sadie is in the crime scene clean up business, so when she lands a just for a murder- suicide she not surprised when the ghost of the murdered wife tells her that her husband didn't commit the crime. So now it's up to sadie to try and figure out what really happened with the help of her sexy empolyee Zack and to stay alive long enough to to catch the killer. As the first book in Ms. Roberts Ghost Dusters Series I found it entertaining and there is plenty of room for this story line to become great. All in all a satisfying read I look forward to the next book in the series.

yes they are a series it's called The Seer. I've read the first 4 one right after the other just because I could put them down. They were a nice light read and very easy to become addicted to I plan to read the book 5 but I wanted to take a break and read something different.

So far there are only 5 books in the series and I hope she continues on with it!

16. Real Vampires Have Curves by Gerry Bartlett

Review:When full figured, couple hundred year old vampire Glory St Clair decided to move to Austin, Texas she thought she was going to be starting a new life by opening a vintage clothes store but when her on again off again vampire boyfriend Jeremy Blade shows up with news that a vampire hunter is in town Glory is determined to not let it worry her but when her friends start dying Glory realizes that she has to start fighting fire with fire and hunt the hunter. This was a humerous first book in the Glory St. Clair series and I'm sure this is going to be a Fantastic series for many years to come.

17. Fatal Charm by Linda Joy Singleton

Review:Fatal Charm the fifth book in Linda Joy Singleton's Seer series brings together all the unanswered questions that have been building since the first chapter of book one. Sabine is back living with her grandmother after finding out that her father has a secret second family that she never knew about and with her grandmother getting sicker every day and Sabine and Dominic are hot on the trail of the remedy book that can save her grandmother. With killers, half sisters and boy friends all complicating her quest Sabine is about to learn that good things do come true. I am not completely sure if this the last book in the series and I really hope it isn't sharing Sabines adventures is a wonderful ride into the world of Psychics.

18. High Stakes by Erin McCathy

Review: When thirty year old Alexis goes charging into the Ava, a casino owned by Ethan Carrick she could never have imagined that she would be rescuing her baby sister from the most handsome man she has ever met. To bad he thinks he is a vampire, but when a twist of fate as Alexis pretending to be his girlfriend she soon comes to realize that Carrick really is a vampire and maybe that really isn't such a bad thing.

Ms. McCarthy has penned a hilarious novel about the lives of vampires living in Las Vegas. With a laugh on almost every page Ms. McCarthy's High Stakes moves along at a swift pace and never fails to make you laugh out loud. The chaaracters are complex and refreshing in this story about vampire love and it's a love that sizzles right off the page. I am eager to start the next book in this amazing series and ready for all new laughs.

19. Real vampires Live Large by Gerry Bartlett

Review:Glory's back and she is still in hot water so to speak. Book two starts off with glory's shop being burnt down and then when an old boyfriend shows up that she can't remember she knows she in for more trouble. But when her best friend Flo starts acting strange glory puts her mind to trying to figure out what's going on and when she finds out that she's addicted to VV (vamp vigra) glory will do what ever it akes to put the vamps selling the stuff out of business that is if she can avoid becoming the next on there energy sucking list. Again Ms. Bartlett has penned another outstanding novel that is sexy, sassy and a funny lighthearted read. Job well done!

20,21,22,23. The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer

Review: For months I read reviews about Twilight in group posts and such and thought to my self but it's for teens it probably isn't any good. Boy was I WRONG!. This book captured me for the first letter until the last! This book the first in a series of 4 is absolutly wonderful. It's about a young woman named Bella who falls in love with Edward a hundred or so year old vampire who finds her good enough to eat!! There is plenty of sexual tension and danger that the pages just keep turning and by the time you realize it the book is over and you say were is the next one!

The second book in the Stephenie Meyer Twilight Saga is equal if not better then the first. With a beginning that will tear the heart right out of you and use up a box of tissue. I was equally impressed with installment as I was with the first. Again you read about Bella and her personal struggle with Edward and his family who move away thinking that would be best and safer for her. In a depressed downward spiral Bella reaches out to Jacob who becomes her lifeline only to find out that jacob has a secret of his own, he's a werewolf. With twists and turns abound and a reunion that makes you sigh. This book is truly a Favorite!

Book number 3 in Stephanie meyers Twilight saga is fun and fast paced read with all the characters we have come to love! The three way relationship between Bella, Edward and Jacob is intense and funny but also sad because someone always ends up hurting in some way. The tension between the Cullens and the Wolves always leaves you thrilled and the fight scene at the end and the apperance of the Volturi add to the huge climax at the end. All in all I really liked this book. Good work Mrs. Meyers!

As usual Mrs. Meyer has done it again in Breaking Dawn the book we have all been jumping up and down to get! Pretty much starting where eclipse left off we find Bella and Edward getting married Finally and her change to Vampire just around the corner, but things suddenly change when bella becomes pregant , which is shocking enough, but they soon learn the baby is going to end up killing bella. The wolves don't like what is happening and decide to put and end to the Cullens only to have Jacob become Alpha and leave to start his own pack who raley togetehr with the cullens to keep bella safe. The Volturi finally come back but not on good terms as their also bent on destroying the Cullens. I loved this book and I think it was a fantstic way to end this series even though I'm sad to see it end!

24. Demons Are A Ghoul's Best Friend by Victoria Laurie

Review: Book 2 in Ms. Laurie's Ghost Hunter Mystery series is easily ten times better then the first. It's full of mystery, action, humor, and terror and has you looking over you shoulder to make sure you are really alone. M.J. Holliday our favorite ghost buster sure has her work cut out for her when she comes up against one of the nastiest ghosts she has ever tried to bust. A serial killer named Hatchet Jack who is at the core of many terror fill events and the deaths of 4 young boys and M.J. isn't going o rest until she sends this ghost straight to hell. I give this book a 10 out of 10. I will definately be diving into the next installment soon and I will be keeping the lights on !!!

25. Devil May Ride by Wendy Roberts

Review: Ms. Roberts second book in the Ghost Duster Mystery series is fun and keeps you entertained from beginning to end. With whitty characters and complelling plot twists this series is sure to go far. Book 2 starts off with our girl Sadie working a job that becomes a whole lot more complicated when Sadie uncovers signs that the house was used for cult rituals. With danger around every corner and not knowing who she can trust. Sadie must come up with a way to put everything right with becoming a ghost herself.

26. A Quick Bite by Lynsay Sands

Review: Lynsay Sands A Quick Bite is the tale of a 200 year old female vampire named Lissianna who just happens to have a very percular problem, she faints at the sight of blood. So her mother decides she needs help and aquires the services of Dr. Greg Hewitt but her methods of hiring are a bit different then one might think.

This book is highly entertaining and funny. With moments of suspence and passion that leave you wanting more with every turn of the page. Along with off the wall secondary characters A Quick Bite move along at a steady pace and is never boring. I rate this book at 4 1/2 stars.

27. Dead As A Doornail by Charlaine Harris

Review: Book 5 of Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse series is a fun light read that keeps you wanting more. With all the characters that we have come to know and love and even a few new ones that are sure to become just as special, Ms. Harris has a fantastic way of making everything you read humorous and the natural dialogue makes you feel like you are right there in her wonderful world of Bon Temps. As usual the plot is nicely paced and the suspence keeps you on the edge of your seat. Who knew that a world full of supernatural creature could be so fascinating.

28. Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey

Review: Beth Fantaskey's debut novel Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side is a wonderful coming of age story about a young girl who was destined to more then a regular girl trying to finish her last year in High school. The theme though reminisicent of most paranormal teen novels is fresh and fasinating in that it explores in depth a different take on your typical Vampire legend and brings something fresh and new to the reading experience. With a writing style that is uncomplicated and characters that leap off the page I have to say that I truly hope this is not the last that I see of these characters. All in all this is a fantastic work of fiction. 5 stars for sure!!

29.Stargazer by Claudia Gray

Review: Stargazer, book 2 in Claudia Gray's Evernight series is just as good if not better then the first book in the series. The Characters have been fleshed out more and seem to jump off the page and take a firm hold of you while your reading.

We rejoin Bianca for her second year at Evernight Academy where she is still struggling with becoming a full blooded vampire and trying to rekindle her relationship with her forbidden love Lucas, a black cross hunter. All the while doing this with out being found out by her parents and the teachers at Evernight.

The Story moved along at a steady pace that never left you board and the thrilling ending leaves you eager for the next installment, so we can see what is going to happen next and if Bianca will finally get her happy ending. All in all Stargazer was an enjoyable read and a story I won"t soon forget.
4 stars out of 5.

31. Moonlight by Rachel Hawthorne

Review:Rachel Hawthorne's Moonlight is a fantastic story about a young woman named Kayla who was adopted as a young child after her parents were murdered. Away from home she takes a summer job as a guide in a national park where she spent the summer the year before and it's also where she meet her best friend Lindsey and the quite and very intense Lucas Wilde. While struggling to over come fears from her past and face the place of her parents deaths, Kayla is also struggling to understand her new attraction to Lucas and the feelings that she is having a hard time hinding from him and herself. Kayla never thought she would have this much adventure in her summer job but then when things start getting strange she has to role with the punches and except things about herself that she would rather keep hidden.
This is a fantastic story about coming of age and excepting things about yourself that may scare you and learning to except that just because things turn out different it makes you a better person in the end. The style of writting was fast paced and easy to read making this book a quick light read that ended way to fast for this reader. Review:The Zombie Queen of Newbury High was fantastic Story about a girl named Mia who just wanted to go to her prom with the hottest guy in school, but when the resident mean girl sets her sights on the same guy, Mia's only chance to keep her date is to try a love spell that her wacky friend got her to buy. Of course nothing goes right because the next thing Mia knows is that the entire senior class is turning into Zombies and the only way to save the day is to trust the new guy in school who seems to know just a little to much about Zombies. Ms Ashby has written an absolutely wonderful book that is quick to read and very funny. Her wrtting style is witty and fun and she keeps the paced going like a rollercoaster with so many twists and turns that your never sure where you will end up. This was a truly refreshing book. I really enjoyed it!

33. Once Dead, Twice Shy by Kim Harrison

Review:Once Dead, Twice Shy is Kim Harrison's first foray into Teen fiction and she does it brilliantly. We are thrust into the world of Madison Avery who on the eve of her prom night was murdered by a Dark Reaper, but fate has delt her a different hand and Madison soon realizes that she must take control of her life if she is ever going to have the future that she wants. With the help of some unlikely friends Madison is on a mission to put right what went wrong on her prom night but she never knew how hard it was going to be!

I enjoyed this book because it was a different take on the supernatural realm with characters that haven't really been explored in this way before. Light and Dark Angels, the constant decisions between Choice and Fate, Good and Evil, all mixed with a witty humor and chilling thrills makes it probably one of the best books I have read all year thus far. The Characters are witty and you can't help but fall in the love with them, make them some of the more memorable that I have read in recent weeks. I will be eagerly awaiting the next book in this bright new series!

Also this review is based on a Advanced Reaers Copy of the book for those of you that are wondering. The release date for this novel is May 12th for all of you how are waiting to read this fantastic book.

34. Revealers by Amanda Marrone

Review:Revealers by Amanda Marrone is a young adult novel about a young woman named Julia who just happens to be a Witch. She and her four friends spend their days as your regular high school students but by night they are out hunting for all kinds of supernatural creatures using the reveal spell to make there targets reveal their true natures.
As the eve of Julia's 18 th birthday approches and all her friends are being made full coven members she soon realizes that something isn't right, her friends are scared and not telling her anything. The closer her birthday gets the more she realizes she has to figure out what is happening to her friends and her coven before it's too late to save them and herself. Things are getting worse and even she might not be powerful enough to defeat this growing darkness.
This is one of those little gems that jump out at you when you were least expecting it. I enjoyed this book and I'm very glad to have picked it up. From the beginning this book throws you right into the action and adventure of julia and her friends and the suspence continues to grow until that final chapter at the end. This book was easy to read and the dialogue was witty and believeable enough to make you think you were back in high school yourself, with all the issues of said high schooler. Boys, school, sex. Although a few aspects of the book were a little corny, like vampires turning into bats and the witches riding around on broomsticks, I would still give this a 4 star rating just for the sheer fun and adventure this story told.

35. The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong

Review:The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong, the second book in her Darkest Powers trilogy is by far 10 times better then the first. We return to the action with Chloe after she has been captured by the Edison Group and put in a lab until they find the rest of the run aways from Lyle House. Under constant supervision Chloe tries to come up with a plan of escape only to have the oppertunity handed to her when they take her out looking for the missing boys. Finally escaping with a most unlikely allie, chloe soon realizes that staying free is going to be much harder then she thought.
There is never a slow moment in this book and the constant conflicts between the characters never leaves the story without some kind of thrill or chill waiting to be discoverd. The main Characters are likeable and realistic and that keeps you rooting for the good guys even if some of them are very annoying(Tori...lol!). Ms. Armstrong as created gritty, fast paced world that is a joy to read weather you are young or old and I for one can't wait so see what is instore for our merry band for supernaturals. Bring on book 3, I can hardly wait!!

36. Wings by Aprilynne Pike

Review: Aprilynne Pike's debut novel Wings ia a beautiful story about a gril named Laurel. Who at the age of 3 was left in a basket on the doorstep of the people she now calls her parents. Laurel has always been different but it wasn'r until she started her first year of high school that she would find out just how much. I mean how many girls have giant flowers growing out of their backs. With the help of David, a handsome boy who befriends her, Laurel enbarks on an amazing journey of self discovery, with a few thrills along the way.

For me this was a very enjoyable read and a few time I've found myself laughing, crying and holding my breath as the action starts to set in. I love the way Ms. Pike has taken something like Faeries and made it fresh and interesting to read. With just the right amount of Mythology mixed in to keep the story flowing a pace that was never boring.

The conflicts between the characters were great and there is plenty of room for them to grow in the continuation of this series. Who will Laurel choose? the new love found or the old love, found again? Will Laurel be able to protect herself and her parents from the dangers of a now uncertain future? These are the questions that I will be eager to discover in Ms. Pike's next book. The beautiful imagery in this book was a total delight but I found she wasn't overly descriptive, but when she was it was like watching a fantasy movie in your head that unfolds with remarkable loveliness. Well Done Ms.Pike, Well Done!!

37. Grave Sight by Charlaine Harris

Review:Grave Sight by Charlaine Harris is the first book in her Harper Connelly mystery series. As I am a huge fan of Ms. Harris's Sookie Stackhouse series the jump to this series was really very easy.

Grave Sight is about a woman named Harper who has the unique ability to find the dead after she was struck by lightening when she was fifteen. This story takes place in a small tourist town called Sarne where harper has been called to locate the body of a missing teenager and soon finds herself in more trouble then the job is worth. Death threats, being shot at and beaten up is not in her job description but some one in Sarne wants Harper out of town or dead and I don't think it really matters which comes first as long as their secret stays safe.

As usual Ms. Harris keeps this reader interested with her fluid plot and whitty dialogue, and with enough suspence and nail biting action to keep you on the edge of your seat. She truly is a master in her craft and I can't wait to jump into more of Harper's adventures. 3 1/2 stars.

38. Need by Carrie Jones

Review:Need by carrie Jones is the story of a girl named Zara who after witnessing the death of he father is sent to live with her grandmother in Maine. Apon arriving in Maine Zara soon comes to realize that she can move on with her life, but instead of her life getting easier it just keeps getting worse when she realizes she is be stocked by a Pixie king who is bent on making her his queen or at least that is the theory she and her friends come up with but things are way more complicated and things are only going to get worse.

I was hoping for this book to be a really great read but for me it was only good. I found the story to be rushed and some what predictable. The story line and plot held much promise but just failed to wow me in some way. I did however like the characters and the dialogue was witty. I hope that if this series continues that the author can get more indepth and make the next book a great read instead of just average. 3 stars.

39. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Review: Tell me what is the defination of a good book? For me it makes you laugh, cry, tremble with fear and ill with it's vivid imagery. The Hunger Games is all of those things and more. For months now I hvae been trying on and off to read this book and was finally in the right state of mind to read and really enjoy this book, and I did enjoy it much more then I thought.

The story of Katniss Everdeen takes place in a post apocalyptic world where each year two children from the 12 districts are chosen to compeat in the Hunger Games, which gives the winner a chance at fame, fourtune and of course everything they could ever need. On the day they are chosen Katniss never expected her 12 year old sister to be the one, so in an act of desperation she volenteers to go in her place along with a boy named Peeta who turns out to be a valueable friend and allie. Now all Katniss needs to do is survive the games if she can.

The setting is realistic, although a little epressing and the imagery is vivid. The characters are well thought out and complex and most are easily likeable. With a dialogue that is witty and fresh and never leaves you wantng more. the story was fluid and the pace was fast and entertaining. This definately a 5 star read for me and I will be eager to get my hands on the next installment to see what is going to happen next to Katniss and Peeta.

40. Kiss of Life by Daniel Waters

Review:Phoebe Kendall returns in Kiss of Life a changed girl not only did her best friend Adam take a bullet for her but he came back from the dead. Now it Phoebe's trun to return the favor by trying to help Adam regain as much of himself back as possible, but things are getting tense in the undead community and she soon finds herself in the middle of a war between the living and the dead and when things start getting out of control Phoebe decides it's time to do something about it and with Adam by her side she feels she can do anything.

Kiss of Life, book two in Daniel Waters's Generation Dead Series has surpassed all my expectations of how great this book was going to be. I loved it! The characters were more indepth and this issues discussed are some that can be taken from things going on in todays world. The plot was fast paced and many of the events that take place really pull on the old heart strings. Daniel waters has a unique way of writting that draws you in and really makes you feel like your living the story on the pages without making things to complicated or predictable. I savored every moment that i took to read this novel and I will be eager to get my hands on the next installment when it becomes available.

41. Moonlight Warrior by Janet Chapman

Review:Moonlight Warrior by Janet Chapman is a fantastic tale of a powerful highland warrior thrust threw time to the 21st century and the beautiful woman who is destined to love him. When Eve's husband ran out on her, she returned home to her ailing mother determined to make her life better again, when in walks Kenzie Gregor, tall, dark, handsome and rich who just happens to now own the house she and her mother are living in. With a not so easy friendship formed eve agrees to be his housekeeper to help keep herself and her mother from ending up in the red with the bank, but things are getting strange, freak stroms, wierd animal sightings and a man who seems to be a little bit more then normal.

This is one of those rare little gems that you just happen to come across as your browsing the shelves at your local book store that leaves you satisfied well after your done reading it!
This book was a quick and easy read that had me laughing out loud more then once. The characters are strong and independent and never seem fake. If your looking for a steamy romance this is not it, there is little sex going on but the story doesn't suffer for it. I would have to say that this is a excellent start to a new paranormal series.

42. Atlantis Rising by Alyssa Day

Review:Atlantis Rising by Alyssa Day is a spectacular thrill ride from beginning to end. The story starts off with our heroine Riley, a socil workker who's having a really bad day. It also doesn't help that she is an empath and feels everyones emotions as strongly as her own. Seeking solitude she heads to the ocean for some peace and time alone only to have her peace interupted by three men intent on doing her harm, only to be saved by the most handsome man she has ever seen.
He is Conlan, Prince and soon to be King of Atlantis and he is on a mission to retrive Poseiden's stolen Trident. Now Riley's in way over her head and falling fast for the would-be King but danger lurks around every corner and by the end she will finally understand what true love can do to heal the tormented heart of a King.

This first book in what I would ay is going to be an amazing series, makes you laugh out loud, cry and tremble with desire. There was never a boring moment in the whole book and the characters keep you entertained and longing to hear their own stories. Thw writing was crisp and clean and had a wonderful flow that never failed to keep the pages turning. I couldn't put this book down. Ms Day brings the Myth/Legend of Atlantis to brillent life and I for one wish it was real, but who knows maybe someday Atlantis really will rise! This story was a whirlwind of an adventure and my only complaint is I'm sorry to see it end!!

43. Charming the Highlander by Janet Chapman

Review:What do you get when you take a rocket scientist and a midevil higland warrior and throw them together in the wilderness.....I excellent story! Book one in Janet Chapman's time-travel series Charming and Highlander was a fantastic read from start to finish. It was full of passion, romance, thrills, chills and unending love.

When Grace Sutter decided to return home she never thought it would be because she was bringing the ashes of her older sister home to scatter in the place she loved and with a even bigger task of returning her sister's son to his father who has no idea he even has a son. But fate has different plans for Grace and that comes by way of Greylan MacKeage, the man who helps to save her life when the small plane they are traveling on together crashes in the wilderness just a few miles form there homes and in that harsh landscape a passion that burns brighter then sun flares between them, that neither one is ready to surrender to.

This is an excellent start to this series of books the characters are strong and well thought out and the reserch done to make them believable is fantastic. The men are strong and confident even if they don't always have modern day thinking and the women are equally as strong and smart which you don't always get from a romance novel. The secondary characters also worm their way into your heart and leave you wanting to hear each of their own stories. All in all this was a great read and I for one will be diving head first into the next book in this series....I mean who doesn't love a Highlander anyway!! 41/2 stars.

This is the story of Dulcinea Craven a beautiful young woman living in 1815 England, who also just happens to be a witch, one that decends from a very long line of witches in her family. 46. Desire Untamed by Pamela Palmer

Review: Desire Untamed bu Pamela Palmer is the first book in her Feral Warrior series and is one of the most interesting shapshifter novels I have read in a very long time. The world she has created is lush with sorcery, seduction, passion and danger around every turn.

This is the story of Kara MacAllister a woman from a small town who's life is turned up-side down when a powerful and handsome stranger breaks into her home claiming she is an immortal and the onlt one who can save his people, a group of shapeshifting warriors.

The writing and dialogue in this book is fast and funny and on more then one occasion I found myself laughing out loud or crying tears for a charcter that is sure to be remembered for a very long time. This is truly a great read and I cn't wait to see what is going to happen to the next of the warriors. 4 stars

47. Mark of the Demon by Diana Rowland

Review:Kara Gillian, police detective and conjurer of demons is really having a bad day. First she does a simple summoning and ends up face to face with some kind of demon she have never seen before, because how could anything that beautiful be evil or dangerous and she soon finds out that her life is far from normal. Now she has to deal with a serial killer who seems to be back after a 3 year break and everything in her gut tells her that it has something to do with is demon she she accidentally summoned. Now time is running out and if Kara can't figure out how to stop this killer not only will there be more victims but the world could be at stake as well.

Mark of the Demon by Diana Rowland is book 1 in her new urban fantasy series. Ms. Rowland has spun together a riveting tale of suspence, magic and deliciously sexy passion. The worls she has created is full of lore and mythology that keeps you glued to the pages and not wanted this book to end. The constant thrill of danger and the mystery envolved in the plot of this book makes to a complex read that needs to be savored like fine chocolate, with new twists and turns around every corner you are left with the feeling of pure satisfaction when you get to end of this book and can only wish the next book in the would be released at much sooner. 48. Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs by Molly Harper

Review:Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs by Molly Harper is the first book in here Jane Jameson series. The story is about Jane a librarian who has just been down sized at work and while on a self pity trip ends up getting shot and left for dead until the hot guy form the bar comes along, who happens to be a Vampire and saves her life by turning her. Now Jane has to deal with her new Undead state and try to live by the new rules in her life, oh and how is she ever going to tell her parents! So when things start happeningand Jane gets the blame she soon realizes that someone isn't happy with her new way of life and if she isn't careful she may end up dead dead.

Now I am a huge lover of Vampire books, I usually find these interesting and fun to read but this book for my was only just OK. I found it very boring in a few places and the fact that the main character yet very funny was just a little bit to self pitying. There was a lot of dialogue about the same topic over and over and for me the story seemed to drag on up until about the last 50 to 60 pages when we finally got to see some real action. Now I'm not sure if I will continue reading this series or not but I may give the second book a try in the hopes that now that the story line has been established that the next book will be far more interesting. 2 1/2 stars

Now she has only a few day to help him save his sisters life and his soul before he he has a chance to kill her himself.

I really liked this book alot it was full of suspence and danger that kept you on the edge of your seat. The passion between the two main characters was intense and burned white hot. The secondary characters were all very enjoyable and the dialogue was quick witted and funny at points and touching in others. All in all this was a great first book in what I am sure is going to be a fantastic series and i can't wait to see what is going to happen to the rest of the hunters in their own stories. 4 1/2 stars

50. Demons Not Included By Cheyenne McCray

Review:Demons not Included is Cheyenne McCray's first book in her new Night Tracker series and is the story of Nyx a half human, half drow Pi who helps investigate paranormal crimes and keeps the city safe from Demons and a sorts of paranormal creatures. So when her fellow trackers start dying it's up to Nyx to try and figure out who or what is doing it and with the help of her spunky PI partner and a NYPD cop, who she is totally crushing on, together they have to find a way to put a stop to whatever is going down in their city and stay alive at the same time.

For me this was a good start to a new and very interesting series that doesn't just deal with your run of the mill paranormal creatures. Nyx is a strong willed character that makes you cheer out loud and shows just enough softness to keep her more woman than warrior. The secondary characters are fresh and funny and I can only hope that they each get to have their spot in the lime light. This was a nice quick read that is intense and frot with danger and a whole lot of Passion with a capitol P. Very enjoyable, I look forward to the next book in the series. 4 stars

51. Atlantis Awakening by Alyssa Day

Review:Atlantis Awakening, book 2 in Alyssa Day's, The Warriors of Poseidon series tells the tale of Ven and Erin. Ven, brother to Conlan and second inline for the atlantian throne is sent on a mission of diplomacy with the hopes of alining the warriors with a group of powerful witches, to help them over throw a growing vampire threat. Enter Erin a 10th level witch with the ability to sing to gem stones and use their powers but when an attack on Erin has Ven whisking her away to Atlantis they both soon realize that there is a awakening passion building between the two and an ancient enemy getting ready to blow it all apart.

In this second book there was plenty of passion and danger but for me it just seemed to be lacking something which left me wanting more. It almost felt like the characters stalled in their growth and were just a little boring, now with that said I do have to admit the I am still very intregued by this story line and the universe that Alyssa Day has created and I will be looking forwardto the next in the series with the great hope that it just that much better the previous two! 3 stars

52. Dark Time:Mortal Path Book 1 by Dakota Banks

Review:Dark Time:Mortal Path book 1 is Dakota Banks first book it what i am sure will be a fantastic Urban Fantasy series. She tells the story of Maliha Crayne(althought that isn't her origional name) a woman who was recuited by a demon as an assassin and for 300 years she did her job and never looked back until that one job that changed everything, where she discovered a loop hole in her contract. All she has to do is save as many lives as her has taken and she will be returned her soul, but if she fails there will be only pain and death for her punishment. Now she is onto her lates mission, try to figure out who is killing a friends hacker buddies and avoid a stalker who is out to get her, maybe she should have stuck to the contract.

For me this book was a nice change of pase and the story was intreguing and holds a ton of promise for future books. Maliha is a kick ass woman with a strong personality and even stronger fighting skills. Ms. Banks story telling is vivid and fascinating and her story is unique. There is a ton of suspence and action to be had in this book and the cliffhanger ending leaves you dying to know more. I can't wait for book 2!!

I found this book kind of slow and it didn't really pick up for me at all, I found it a little boring but it did get more intersting towards the end. The writing was style was straight forward and the lpot was good and I enjoyed the characters humor a lot. I would have to say that this was a pretty good start to the series and I will the next book with the hopes that now that I know the ins an outs of Lil's life it will make it a much more intersting read. Cast & Kristin Cast's House of Night Series takes you into the world of a young woman who is on the verge of becoming a vampire, but this is not your usuall I bite you, you change kind of vampire story. The twist to this vampire story is that when you become a vampire it's more like a virus and you slowly become a vampire if you don't die first. This new twist on the vampire legend is intreguing and highly addicitve, not to mention a breath of fresh air in something that seems to be the same time and time again. I highly enjoyed this novel and will be starting the second book very soon!

60. What's A Ghoul To Do? by Victoria Laurie

Review:As my first foray into reading mystery this book did not disappiont. It has it all fun witty humor,a little bit of sex appeal and don't forget creepy ghostly happenings. Victoria Laurie has penned one fantastic novel. What's a Ghoul To Do? is about a young woman named MJ who has the ability to contact the dead and help them move on, has a result of this talent she has created her own business as a ghost hunter. With a seriuosly funny best friend as a business partner an a client that's to hot for words, MJ sure does have her hands full. I pretty much read this book in one sitting and when I couldn't read it I was thinking about when I was going to be able to get back to it. All in all this book was absolutely great and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good time!

61. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

Review:This was very good first book by Authur Richelle Mead. The story of two bestfriends and their relationship was truley fascinating!. Although I fund the beginning of the book a little slow to start the middle and end were absolutely great! earning it 4 stars! She had just the right amount of intregue and danger to keep me engrossed until the end and the sexual tension was well planned and kept you wanted more! All in all I would recommend this book to any age group who is looking for a good read!!

62. A Rush of Wings by Adrian Phoenix

Review:A Rush of Wings by Adrian Phoenix was a sinfully hot read about and FBI agent who on the trail of serial killer is pulled it to the world of the Fallen and Nightkind. In short vampires. The plot was tightly woven and danger levels were high, the characters also had depth and passion making this a wonderful first addition to a new and exciting series. I for one will be eagerly awaiting the next installment!

So when Sookie is asked to help find a vampire in Dallas she can't refuse, the only problem is can she stay alive long enough to make it back home or will things turn deadly.

67.Club Dead by Charlaine Harris

Review:She's Back! Our girl Sookie is back again in another humorous tale of Vampire love. When Sookie's boyfriend bill takes off to Jackson, Mississippi sookie is left to wonder what is going on when she doesn't hear from him in a few days, she turns to Eric, Bill's sexy boss for help. So what is a girl to do help the boyfriend who betrayed her or find a good sharp stake and plunge it into him cheating heart, oh the choices!

I've said it before and I will say it again Ms. Harris has written yet another excellent addition to my favorite vampire series. With all my favorite characters back this third book is great fun. She manages to yet again weave a delightful blend of humor, intrigue and ecotic good fun that explores human and non-human nature alike. 68. Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris

Review:Well it's not everyday you come across a naked man on the side of the road, and Sookie Stackhouse isn't about to just leave him there, even if it is Eric, Bill's super sexy boss, oh and did I mention that he can't remember who he is. Now sookie is in charge of eric until she and some of eric's closest vampires friends can figure out what happened to him, But the new Eric is tempting and maybe just this once sookie will let herself have a little fun with the blond vampire, seeing as how her a bill are no more, but soon sookie is drawn into the investigation and is caught in a battle among witches, vampires and werewolves but i guess this is really nothing new for poor sookie who just want's a normal quite life.......Good Luck!

The fourth installment in the sookie series is probably my favorite so far. We get to see more of Eric the Vampire we all love to hate in a new light, that makes this one of the fun and funniest additons to this wonderful series. I am never disappointed when I pick up a Charlaine Harris novel and she never fails to write an even more interesting additon then the one before! Another excellent part to this ever growing series.

Review: Book 1 of the Harrry Dresden Files was a fast paced and fun read with a main character that is likeable if not totally loveable. His quick wit and attitude make for some funny dialogue and interactions between himself and the other characters. The plot was thought out and complex with exciting twists and turns around very corner which makes this an amazing good first novel, I can't wait to continue on with this series andfind out what kind of trouble Harry will get into in the future.
