Hey, anyone have a series they read that has a new book out? I can't wait for the sequel to The Hunger Games which doesn't come out until September!

Maximum Ride just had it's fifth book come out earlier this year. I haven't read it yet though.

Wicked Lovely's third book Fragile Eternity, I believe came out earlier this year, but I may be mistaken.... maybe late last year?

I'm super excited for Looking Glass Wars third book to come out this fall/winter. Can't wait :)

Mary Balogh's Seducing an Angel is supposed to be released this month. Also Janet Evanovich's Finger Lickin' Fifteen is due out in June.

the Fablehaven series has four of its five books out, one of which was just released last month. Also, Terry Brooks's Magic Kingdom for Sale - Sold! series has a new book coming out this August, 14 years after book five. Looking forward to it!

The Sorceress: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. Hmmm, I really liked this series in the beginning, but personally I think Scott's starting to bring a few too many "immortals" and a few too many mythological characters into this stew.

The Secret of the Dread Forest, the conclusion of the "Faire Folk" trilogy. I really liked the first two books, but this conclusion to the trilogy is a little too "nice and sweet." I don't want to say anything more to avoid SPOILER.

I'm personally looking forward to the 5th Septimus Heap book "Syren". I started reding these books with my 12 year old son and really enjoy them along with him. It comes out in Oct.

Regenesis and Conspirator are out in the US but not where I am in the UK.

And Jim Butcher keeps writing a lot, which also don't make it here for ages.

StephenDonaldson's latest addition to the Thomas Covenant series is due late this year I think.

oh heaps. I have 170odd series on my series page, and very very few are complete.

I'm about a third of the way through Keys to the Demon Prison, the just-published fifth (and final) book of Brandon Mull's Fablehaven series. I wish he'd ended this series in a trilogy because it's starting to drag, but I do want to find out how it ends.

Then, on my Kindle, I just got Patricia Briggs' Silver Borne, the newest in her "Mercedes Thompson" series. I'll probably be getting to it in the next day or so.

Also, pre-ordered for my Kindle, Black Magic Sanction, the latest in Kim Harrison's "Rachel Morgan" series. It's been out in treeware since late February, but since all my other "Rachel Morgan" books are on my Kindle, I decided to wait for the Kindle release for the sake of consistency. This is one of my all-time favorite series, so I'm anxious to get the new one.

Just released on Kindle are the first two books of Philip Jose Farmer's "Riverworld" series. I just finished To Your Scattered Bodies Go and don't especially care for it, but I'll get through The Fabulous Riverboat and see if I like it any better.

Anxiously waiting for:

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins (Bk 3 of the Hunger Games, Aug 24)

Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore (Book 3, after Graceling and Fire)

The Necromancer: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott (Bk 4, May 25)

Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce (Bk 3 of Beka Cooper, ?2010 *WHEN IS IT BEING RELEASED TAMORA PIERCE???* )

The next series about demigods by Rick Riordan

Warriors: Omen of the Stars: Bk 3 (??) by Erin Hunter

Need to get Seekers:The Last Wilderness by Erin Hunter

Redwall: Book 22 ( 20??) by Brian Jacques which is about animals, and yes,a bit childish, but I like the series all the same.

Daughters of the Sea: Girl in the Shadows by Kathryn Lasky (Bk 2of Daughters of the sea, 2010?)

As you can see, there is a whole list of books I am waiting for.

I'm excited for:

Radiant Shadows from Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely series, which just came out, but unfortunately I won't have money for it for at least a month :(

The Clockwork Angel is a new spin-off of the Mortal Instruments series. . . . which also has another one coming out: The City of Fallen Angels--which has a while to go, so it's not even on LT yet.

I have just been into Waterstones to pre-order my copy (how excited am I?) I have only ever bought 2 books before on their first day out (this one's predecessor (that was chance) and the kathleen kent the Heretics Daughter) but actually it is a good deal at around half price and a chance to have one of the special editions with the 'living Ayla' on the front.

Now to book some leave so I can read it in peace!
