I just finished up Dietmar Harmann's "Focke-Wulf Ta 152" (C). While not actual bad, I'm not sure there was enough material there to rate more than an article in "Air Enthusiast" back in the day. I'm glad that I was able to examine it as an interlibrary loan.

Acquired The Spitfire: Icon of a Nation by Ivan Rendall today. Was walking past the shelves in the History section of one of the local bookstores and there it was! Had to have it. Looks gorgeous - can't wait to start it.

Just finished Skunk Works: A Personal Memoir of My Years at Lockheed; and speaking of spy planes, recently read One Minute to Midnight : Kennedy, Khrushchev, and Castro on the Brink of Nuclear War, which includes a good account of Captain Charles Maultsby's harrowing accidental flight over the Soviet Union, based on an unpublished memoir by Maultsby. The book also has some good stuff about the USAF and Navy low altitude Blue Moon recon missions.
