Cool.

This does not seem to address the volumes which were revised. The revised volume numbers have an "A" next to the number.

When I was managing The Prince and the Pauper Collectible Children's Books in San Diego (1988-2000), I put together a spreadsheet with all of the stories listed, including the couple of revised volumes where one or more stories changed.

As I have mentioned elsewhere on LT, the volume numbers for these books are on the table of contents page.

I think these books were published by Doubleday by the same outfit that did the Doubleday Book Club editions. Hence, they probably have the Doubleday gutter code on one of the last pages with a letter and two-digit number for the year and week number in the year when the book was printed.

I don't have any of these at hand to check here at the house but assume that those of you with the books can confirm these two points.

I just looked in two of my BiCBs, and there is no gutter code in them as far as I can tell.

The publisher is Nelson Doubleday Inc.
