ANy thoughts on what to have? I'd thought Lance Armstrong as the current public face of cycling but there are plenty of other options: A big Harley? a muddy mountain bike? Someone's wacky modified homebuild frame?
if you've got a link to a public picture that would help.

Google Images returns some good links. I like this one.

Has a bit of everything - communality of the group, fighting against gravity, beautiful scenery

A couple of comments seem to indicate that people who find this group think it is just for serious cyclists. Maybe a non-racing picture would help dispell this notion.
Anybody got a nice one?

I would agree with reading_fox, I first thought that it would be more focused on sport cycling which is why I didn't immediately join.

Found the new one on the web - perhaps it is more appropriate?

Better, but too many helmets.
Maybe something more along the lines of the picture at the top of the Cycling And Your Child web page.

Not that one - that's very hypocritical. I accept there are valid arguments for not wearing a helmet but age isn't one of them. If the kid wears a 'lid then the parent should too.
Threadjackers on the controversial helmet topic please start a new one - this thread is for picture suggestions only!

Except that wasn't the parent of the child although it is an easy mistake to make with the title of the leaflet. I would agree that parents shouldn't make their kids wear helmets if they don't.
I was trying for something neutral showing some helmeted and some non-helmeted riders. Finding pictures of mixed groups which don't have an unconscious bias is difficult. How about something more like
This one - we will probably have to email for permission I guess.

Well there's always this if you don't get out riding often enough!

Thorold. I like that! Is that your blog or a random google find? If it's yours can we use it?
