Too Many Women

Pfui! I've been adding to Common Knowledge (first words, last words, etc) from my books and today I went looking for my copy of Too Many Women. Couldn't find it. Very irritating to have lost a book, and especially a Rex Stout . . .

I always have good intentions when I loan a book out to keep track of it, but somehow never do. Hope it shows up for you!

Too Many Women is the one Wolfe book I do not have, and it's sure not been for lack of looking! It was the only one (or one of a few) that were not reprinted in the 1990s by Bantam, as far as I can tell. I've always wondered why.

That being said, I promise I did not swipe your copy, etrainer!

I didn't lend it. I just lost it somehow. It may be on the shelf somewhere, out of place, but not likely. It was an old paperback. I'll just keep searching the used bookstore for a replacement. I don't suspect you, rosalita, but I will be keeping my eye on you!
