I am so looking forward to this group read. It should be very exciting after our reading of "Pillars of the Earth". Hopefully the turnout will be as good!~! C'mon you guys...............join us. It will be great!~!
luv n hugs,
Apolline- Sorry you can't join us! I think you might be making a much better literary choice, anyway! I plan on doing a G.R. of Midnight's Children in March. Keep that in mind!
Jim- Thanks for stopping by! Yes, I will sent up different "spoiler threads", as soon as I figure out how I want to split the book up. I think 6 weeks might be to long, maybe we could do it in 4?
> tjblue- I'm glad you found us too! Yes, LT is a life-changer!
BJ & Rachel- Glad you are joining us! Should be fun!
The book is broken into 7 parts. 1st week: Parts 1 & 2 (166 pages). Week 2: Parts 3 & 4 (330 pages). Week 3: Part 5 (200 pages) and Week 4: Parts 6 & 7 (300).
How's that sound? I think it's reasonable. Remember, this is just a recommended reading pace! Read it however you want to! I will start a separate thread for each week!

I just finished the book Mark. And I think that I loved World Without End even more that I did The Pillars of the Earth by Follett. There was always something going on so when I put it down, I couldn't wait to get back to it. This one was full of underlying story lines. I hope all of you are enjoying it as much as I did. And where in "Pillars" it seemed as if the Cathedral was a character in and of itself; in "World" the plague takes on that characterization. Wonderful writing by Follett.
Thank you Mark. It was just a wonderful read and I will see you in March for Midnight's Children, which I am looking forward to as it will be my first Salman Rushdie.
hugs all round,
