B.B Warfield

I have heard that P&R Reformed Biography series will relaese a biography on B.B Warfield. Has anyone else hard that or know any other information?

I've heard Carl Trueman of Westminster Seminary is supposed to be writing, but that is all I've heard. I don't know if he's even started or when it'll be published.

Ther is a Bio now out on Warfield as well as his doctirne. Has anyone read it. I wasn't sure if it was a little more scholarly and a little harder to follow.

Morryb - what are the details about this BBW biography? Perhaps you are referring to The Theology of B.B. Warfield: A Systematic Summary by Fred G. Zaspel? That has a 60 page "bio" setting BBW into his context. It then extracts relevant material from across Warfield's writings into a typical systematic theology outline or organization.

I am reading P&R bio on Charles Hodge The pride of Princeton from the Reformed Biography series. I am still looking forward to the one on B B. Warfield

I did pick up a book Breckinridge Statesman, Soldier, Symbol. While not a reformed theologian, he was Vice President and one of the uncles B. B. was named after.
