These are on my Kindle so, alas, no picture. As you can see, the selections skew towards the classics, where I'm having a bit of trouble finding motivation right now. Any you would nudge?

Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson
A Room With A View by E M Forster
Howard's End by E M Forster
Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift
Falconer by John Cheever
Candide by Voltaire

I've only read the two Forsters, but enjoyed A Room with a View very much. It was more enjoyable than Howard's End, though I do not remember now why that was. So I'll nudge A Room with a View. If you have not seen the movie, you might enjoy that too - it was very well done.

I'll nudge Treasure Island, it's a wonderful adventure story. I haven't read the others but intend to read the Forsters, so a slight nudge for them.

Another nudge for Treasure Island from me, then a half nudge for Room with a view.

Definitely a firm nudge for Treasure Island and a smaller one for Room with a View. Sorry, not bucking the trend there...

I've read all of them except Falconer, and it's hard to go wrong with the choices you've got. I'd give a nudge to Gulliver's Travels, which is one of the greatest satires ever written (Candide is on that list too). If you haven't read Gulliver's Travels, it is far more biting than the children's versions that have been made of it, particularly book IV.

Happy reading!

The one that I haven't read is A Room With a View. Out of the others, I enjoyed Gulliver's Travels most of all so a consider it nudged. I notice lots of nudges towards Treasure Island. If you choose to read it, and enjoy it, you might like Foe by J. M. Coetzee. I did.

I loved Howard's End, so I'd recommend that one!

Boringly, I'd nudge either of the Forsters too. I love both but A Room With a View gets maybe half a point more than Howards End.

Again, either of the Forsters for me
