Portuguese picture books for kids

Hello all,
I'm looking for picture book from/about Portugal. I'm after (1) Books translated in English that are easily available but that are written or illustrated by Portuguese authors/illustrators (2) books that are somehow culturally specific (and may or may not be available in English) (and these two criteria may not be mutually exclusive of course). Basically I want to learn more about Portuguese picture books and am after recommendations for brilliant books that I might enjoy with my own kids.

There are two "recent" major publishing names in what regards children books in Portugal, and if may say so, pretty amazing:

José Jorge Letria was his books published by Assírio Alvim (major publising house in Portugal) and his soon usually ilustrates the books. He was also a '70s topical singer in Portugal, friend of Zeca Afonso et al.

I'm an author of children's books. They are available in Portuguese, English, French and German. You may find my books at Amazon (all sites), a few of them are both paperback and e-books: "Faher Chistmas has the Flu" (a Christmas play for children of all ages) is available in paperback and e-book, and in the 4 above languages.
