This topic in a recent NASA post, is interesting. It discusses the conjunction of coming increased solar activity and its increased potential for economic impact on Earth, contrasted with our greater ability to predict and monitor solar activity so as to be able to minimize that impact.

The video nicely presents the scope of solar studies, and spurs my interest in learning more.

I had heard of this before, the article is a great explanation. Was it back
in the 70's
when a lot of "CB's" {mobile radios used before cell phones} were inoperable because of solar storms?

A bit off topic but are there any companies who specialize in "solar radiation proofing" electrical/electronic systems here on earth? Maybe there is a wild growth stock play there.
