Headquarters of the State Library of Queensland. The building houses the State Reference Library, the John Oxley Library (the state historical collection), and an Indigenous knowledge centre. There are public reading rooms, auditoriums, public spaces, exhibition venues, children's spaces, a bookshop and a coffee shop. Residents of Queensland can get access to some subscription online databases through the library website.
