McNally Jackson, (est. December 2004; name changed from McNally Robinson NYC to McNally Jackson, 2008), is a big, beautiful independent bookstore in New York's Nolita, where Soho, Noho, the Lower East Side, Chinatown, and Little Italy meet (it's also a stone's throw from Tribeca, the East Village, West Village, and Wall Street....not to mention a quick subway ride from Brooklyn, a bike ride from Harlem, and a PATH fare from the great state of New Jersey). In other words, we're right in the middle of the criss-crossing currents of New York's eclectic cultural life and we're determined to capture that invigorating swirl in our mix of books, media, and events.

At 7,000 square feet on two levels, the New York store, owned and operated by Sarah McNally, is about a third the size of McNally Robinson's other major locations, but is one of the largest independent stores in Manhattan. The Teahouse offers a place to work, chat, and enjoy a menu of tea, coffee, bakery treats, soups, salads and sandwiches.

Ongoing events include the Spanish language discussion group, the Fiction Book Club, the Art and Beauty Book Club, and Children's Storytime.
