Als jochie vond ik de boeken al veel beter dan de films. Met name juist de latere werken waar al ver voor Jurassic Park en Indiana Jones verloren werelden als die van Opar werden bezocht. Die mystiek gecombineerd met de natuurbeleving spreekt nog steeds aan. ( )
