The book includes repetition and the familiar "Fee, fi, fo, fum" that is sure to get children reading along with you! ( ![]() As a child I remember reading Jack and the Beanstalk and seeing it more as a happy story, but after reading this version it has more of a vibrant but creepy look to it. The story itself is very similar to the original but it does have some twists. We saw Jack being courageous to enter the castle and tricking the beast's wife. The ogre and his wife were actually very scary looking which I found interesting It made the story more intense. Just like many other fairytales we don't really learn anything and there is a happy ending. Steven Kellogg humorously retells and illustrates the fairy tale of Jack and the Beanstalk with a happy ending. At the end of the story, "The ogre fell down and broke his crown and the beanstalk came tumbling after." Jack and his mother became very rich from showing the golden harp and selling the golden eggs. Jack married a great princess, and they all lived happily ever after. This fairy tale would be good for nursery school children and young elementary school children. The classic story of Jack and the Beanstalk There two side of stories about two nice giant couple and Jack with bad manner. Jack steal the giant goose and sell them and the other side giant get the beans for trading with the goose. I like this book because It has two sided stories where you get to choose. Kid will have the option of which one they want to listen. It suitable for grade third till eighth. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
