This book is written in simple language and encourages children to live differently by showcasing Jesus' childhood. They will draw closer to Jesus because they see that He too was a child just like them.
I loved the quote: " Jesus always tried to make others happy. Because He was so kind and gentle, the rabbis hoped to make Him do as they did. But they could not change Him. He would ask what did the Bible taught. Whatever that said, He told them He would do." Page 25. Wow! This will motivate my students to know that studying the Bible should be their daily delight so that they too may stand for truth. They will be inspired to put others first. Great book to promote student led panel discussions about living like Christ and what it means to them. (
