None-the-less I think that this is worth a little thought. Regarding this collection of thought, here is a comment that involves both Toby Johnson and Joseph Campbell: Isn't belief vs. knowledge an artificial dichotomy? Knowledge requires to be believed doesn't it? However, knowledge doesn't require faith in order to be believed. On p. 71 Johnson says "the teaching of emptiness declares that Divine Reality - Ultimate Truth, upon which all other truth is based - is not a suitable object of knowledge." Therefore, Truth transcends knowledge. We know truth transcends proof, but if there is a truth which we cannot know - it seems to me this would transcend belief also. If this was an attempt to argue that faith has a use, it seems to have failed. ( ) Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
