It shows how cluelessness these animals are to how the world works, but also show how much they care. Each of them thought they would disappear from existence, but that didn't stop them from trying to save their friends. I also really like the illustrations of the book. Seeing each animal get smaller and smaller just as the other animals saw it was a nice touch. I think kids would appreciate the simplicity of the book and the cool perspective illustrations. ( ) A picture book that explores the perception that as things move away from us they seem to get smaller. The poor animals -- owl, fox, rabbit, squirrel, and mouse -- seem to shrink as they move away and get bigger as they get closer. Finally owl figures out that when people come back they will be "the right size". Coupled this book with Steve Jenkins's "Actual Size". Could also use it with "Kitten's First Full Moon" -- re perception of objects -- and "Zoom" / "Re-Zoom". Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
