![]() No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. I loved it. I devoured it. I liked how it tied everything together! Can't wait for the new triliogy! ( ![]() I waited so long for this and was so disappointed, she teased about so much emotion and heartbreak for it to just fall flat. The whole thing dragged on and just seemed rushed, it also seemed like she was too busy focusing on trying to please everyone that it just didn’t make any sense or impact, characters are introduced with no depth to be killed off. This is still one of my favourite series, I just pretend this book was never written 3.5 stars (rounding up because First of all, don't do this on audio. I didn't enjoy it that way, and I'm sure it affected my attitude. I liked it much more when I picked up the book and just read the last 150 pages or so. The book's long, longer than it needed to be, which was my complaint about the last book too. Do established YA authors start getting paid by the pound at some point? I was pretty frustrated with the number of times Sebastian stopped to give a villainous speech; on one work commute, I was driving along yelling, "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Pedestrians love me. Grousing aside, I do like these characters. There's a lot of heart in these novels. As an Infernal Devices fan, I loved the crossover from that series. I thought the Mortal Instruments had a nice ending with City of Glass. It could have been done there and been fine. The next three books were too long and had frustrating plots, but I kept with the series for the characters, and I do like how she wrapped up everything. As much as I complain about things going on and on, by the end of this book, I wanted to read the Magnus Bane chronicles. And yes, I'm on board for the coming series set in L.A. too. It has taken me approximately forever to read through the Mortal Instruments, but here we are. The main reason for reading these was wanting to get to the later series, but I don't really regret it even if it wasn't the most enjoyable experience. The last book has possibly been one of my favorites in the series, if not the favorite. Especially the humor shone through here, and maybe the fact that there was a lot less unnecessary drama between Clary and Jace was also a factor. The plot was pretty average, but I do like the world Clare has built here, and I've definitely grown fond of the characters. I'll very likely move onto the next series some times this year, but not straight away. Great ending to the amazing first series in the Shadowhunters series! Many interesting plot twists that I wasn't expecting, but fit marvelously in with the whol 'love and loss' theme. I love these characters so dearly and I really am excited to see their adult personas in the Dark Artificies series, even if they aren't necessarily the main characters. I am excited to see the road that the Blackthorn children go down as well as Emma Carstairs' path with them. All in all I thought this was an amazing series and I am sad to be ending it, but Cassandra Clare really has done some amazing work! Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
