This was a book I read to my son. He enjoys hunting with his father and wanted to learn about these animals. We read it aloud together and he read it alone. The book has some good information about the life of a deer. The pictures were ok to me. Overall, it was an ok book.It is a book that could be used in a reading center for kids to look through when they choose.
