He was a polymathic genius, but Leonardo da Vinci was also playful, fanciful{u2014}and often fearful of humans' fate. In this book, the author shows the reader the Leonardo behind the canvas, as the artist tells the tales he might have told at court and to friends over dinner.--Publisher's description No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |

Regarding Levenger Press’s production, this is nicely done, as is typical of Levenger productions, with two color printing and decorative accents on nearly every page. However, I was disappointed that more of Leonardo’s illustrations were not used, especially in the ‘bestiary’ section. To read details about his bestiary, but to only have one image is a bit of a let-down.
Altogether a good read, but not great, and, given the price (new), one might be better off buying this on the used market
