His classmates have taken an oath to not become bystanders and let bullying exist in their school. Summary: Pete is a new kid in town and he soon shows signs of being a bully, such as taunting others, putting them down, and squirting juice on them. When the kids at his new school see the way he is treating these students, they stand together to let him know that his behavior is unacceptable and teach him about "The Promise" in their school. Reflection: This book focuses those who stand, watch, and do nothing: the bystanders. This book is great in that it offers real solutions for kids who see bullying and feel powerless to do anything about it. It would be an excellent read-aloud book where the whole class can engage together in discussions. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
