This is a well-loved and awarded book, but somehow I just read it for the first time. This is a “fractured fairy tale” that re-tells the story of the Three Little Pigs from the perspective of the wolf. According to Alexander Wolf, no one has heard his side of tale, which has been a huge injustice and wrongly gave him a “Big Bad Wolf” reputation. He only blew the houses down because he had a bad cold and needed to visit the neighbor pigs because he ran out of sugar and wanted to finish a cake for his grandmother. Who is the real antagonist in this story? Not sure anymore. Funny and enjoyable for all ages. PremisLlistes notables
The wolf gives his own outlandish version of what really happened when he tangled with the three little pigs. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
