I only got to disc 5 or so (there are 13), but the first part tells the story of charismatic hypnotist (and all-around snake-oil-salesman) Lafayette Ron Hubbard's life, including early schemes, the development of his business, the descent into delusion, authorization of Watergate-type conspiracy and general evasion from authorities in the latter half of his life.
