(unknown level) This is a book that will help you to find out about pirates if you want to know about them In this book will show you what do piratedo to find gold this is a great book to find out the interior of a pirate boat y the flags the use to warn the other pirates. This was the first 'ology' book I bought - it was selling cheapish [comparatively] at Exclusive and I snapped it up. The book is perfect for young minds, full of imagination and interesting pictures. Although it has been tagged here as non-fiction, it is I suppose faction, where a lot of facts are hung around an adventure to make everything more palatable and exciting. Pirateology is not the book of choice as a reference work but it is a wonderfull way to learn a little bit about those Eighteenth Century Freebooters and Privateers - especially in an age in which impression are formed either by Disney or by the news headlines. I love these books. They are interactive and full of learning experiences for every age. Also, for some reason this one is selling for pretty cheap, all the more reason to buy it!
