Can Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit, Roo, Owl, Tigger, and Christopher Robin help him find something special for friendship Day? This delightful story has a heartwarming message for young readers about the true meaning of friendship. Readers young and old will find much to appreciate in this delightfully-illustrated tale. Highly recommended. Summery It is a book about friendship day and what everyone is bringing to friendship day christoper is making hats Pooh is making honey and owl is reading. Roo was learning a new song Rabbit was making Friendship stew. Tigger was practicing for the bouncing contest. Eyore didnt know what to bring then Chistoper Robin and Eyore made everyone a ribbon of the very own. The group had a wounderful time. Personal Reaction: This book is good to read aloud to possibly kindergarten or first grade when they are first learning about friendship. Classroom extension ideas: 1. Have a friendship day. Ask students to all bring one thing for the class party. 2. Discuss what friendship is, and how to be a good friend. Make a picture using supplies found in the classroom, or outside about friends Summary: Everyone in the hundred acre wood is having a big celebration. Friendship day is a wonderful Winnie the Pooh tale with a great lesson. Everyone is preparing for a big celebration. They are celebrating Friendship Day. Everyone has an idea on how to participate except Eeyore. Christopher Robin, Pooh and Piglet help him. The lesson of the book is that caring is what friendship is all about. I checked this book out from the library but I will definetly buy a copy for my library. The value it puts on friendship while at the same time showing it doesn't take a lot to be a friend is heart warming. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

They even throw in Eeyore's tail going missing -- the second most popular plot -- but in an appalling move the problem is dismissed with a shrug, no one looks for the tail, and Eeyore is still tail-less at book's end. Nasty. And in a book about friendship!
(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:
