I loved this book, i would recommend it to everyone, a good way to get more of a visual feel is the movie by Steven Spielberg which is basically the same as the book.

This book shows how soldiers behaved during the Second World War, at the beaches on Normandy and in France. The book shows what the soldiers thought during the war and how it affects them afterwards. It shows the sacrifices made by the soldiers and this affected them. ( )
