A trophey has been stolen from Mary Todd Lincoln Middle School and Principal Van Vreeland has decided to cancel all activities until the trophey is found. This includes the eighth grade field trip to Taproot Valley. So Bethesda Fielding decides its time to put on her detective hat and find out who did it and save the field trip. I enjoyed reading this book but I do have to say that there were way too many names of people that you are suppose to remember. At times it got confusing but if you stick with it you have a very delightful book. I won this book from Goodreads. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

Adult Reader Reaction: The author has followed up The Secret Life of Mrs. Finkleman with an equally fresh, fun mystery. The story has plenty of middle school drama readers can relate to, but with the exception of Principal Van Vreeland, characters aren't caricatures. This is a story that stands on its own. You don't have to read The Secret Life of Ms. Finkleman first.
Pros: Mysteries within a mystery keep readers on their toes and turning the page in this middle grade novel.
