This is a very cute alphabet book in which each student in the class has a name that starts with a different letter. Adelaide starts by playing a trick, and each students reacts by upsetting someone else, until finally Adelaide apologizes and everyone else passes that along too until relative peace is restored. This book is fun and engaging, it introduces a full classroom and each students name begins with one of the letters of the alphabet. the illustrations make this story really exciting and fun.

The illustrations were done well and were very cute. I enjoyed reading how this story progressed and I plan to use this book with my little nephew! ( )

Imagine a preschool classroom with 25 cranky kids and one beleaguered teacher.

It only takes one small annoying act from Adelaide to set off a chain reaction of bad behavior. Dexter is drooling, Flora is fuming, Jasper is jeering, Kirby is kicking . . . and before you know it, Stella is stumbling, Todd is tumbling, and Winthrop is weeping. Oh, oh, oh!

I enjoyed this book, but found it more appropriate for child kids. The book talks about words to use, that start with each letter of the alphabet when you get annoyed, anger, or mad. I think the child needs to be old enough to understand these words, and how even though they feel that way, its not ok to react with anger. ( )
