Perfect ( ) Good ending to this YA post apocalyptic series. The relationship between the heroine and the hero evolved but stayed firm. I loved how over the course of the series she had to learn how to be in a relationship and how she occasionally could pretty much only shake her head over the crazy way males thought. There was some super sad stuff in this one that I was still upset over at the books end, so good writing there. Speaking of writing the whole thing was well done and the plot a believable extrapolation. The series came to a satisfying conclusion that I didn't necessarily see coming but it didn't come out of left field either. Recommended. 3.5/5 stars. Personally, I like a YA trilogy that ends with the teens growing to adulthood. I like seeing them change and I like seeing how those changes affect how they interact with the world. So, basically, I loved this. Some of the things that were wrapped up seemed implausible--Stone, for example--but they were wonderful and good for Deuce, so I like them anyway. And, hey, who says Deuce's was the only story in this world? I adored the ending. It almost felt that for the epilogue we'd left their world and slipped into Morrow's story.
