This nonfiction book talks about many different things about penguins such as types of penguins, where they live, their characteristics, laying eggs and chicks, and living in Antarctica. It also talks about where you can see penguins now - in a zoo or aquarium. The pictures are hand-drawn, but very detailed. This is a great book for a younger audience.

I may sound a little bias because penguins are my favorite animal, but found this book the most interesting. There was actually some information I didn’t know even though I studied penguins before. If any kid is also interested in penguins this is a great book to learn about them. The page reads simply and has amazing illustrations to correlate with the text. I really can’t recommend it enough because of how much I just love penguins. ( )

How about all engines live in the southern part of the world. Also gives different types. Talks about how they don't walk but waddle. Also talks about how they are a bird that can't fly but swim. They also lay eggs. Penguins huddle together to stay warm...great thing to learn. There are laws that protect penguins and they can be found in zoos all around the world.
