When each animals reveals itself, the cast away suit of the former animal almost looks like a freaky eye-less corpse. But, you know, it's a really funny book to do at story time. The kids thought it was great and afterwards we made dog masks and went around saying "A dog is a dog unless it's...ME!" ( ) This is a wonderfully silly book! If I were to use this in a storytime, I might need to preface the book with an introduction to some of the animals (I'm thinking the squid especially), but I like the rhythm of the book and the illustrations are great. Kids will probably get a big kick out of the animal removing its disguise and transforming into something else. Plus, there's a moose in it, and I always like stories that feature meese. :D This is a wonderfully silly book! It is not a normal story which has characters and dialogue. It seems like a guessing book and you need to guess what will a dog become by the shape on the pages. It is more like an information book which full of some hidden details about all kinds of animals. Actually, it is a poetry book. It is rhythm, Humor, offering substance. The poem use alliteration, assonance, repetition, onomatopoeia. To teachers, it is a good book which can draw students's eyes all the time and keep their focusing on the book because they need to guess what is the next. To children, it is a simple poetry book which is easy for them to read aloud and it is funny. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
