Summary:
Two little characters are playing and they get taken to another place kind of like earth by some aliens. In that time they have to defeat all kinds of stuff like swamp monsters and have to beat other things. Then they meet a girl that can turn into a monster and they are really amazed by that.

Personal Reaction:
This book is very cute for boys. The way they imagine things and how it really is. I like how this has a different look other than original things.

Classroom Extension Ideas:
This would be a good book just to see how the kids react to it. ( )

This is a great graphic novel to use with second through fourth grade children. The story takes the reader on a journey with two children. The two encounter many obstacles as they travel and habe to fight off villians who are linked to specific holidays. The illustration alongside the text helps to tell the story. This book would be great in a classroom to:
-have children begin to read longer books
-read over a perios of time for understanding
-create their own graphic novels
-begin to read the entire series
-read as a class with many different copies
-relate the book to other books read
