The purpose of this book is to provide an exchange of Lakota and Christian ideas. Originally, this book was intended to be a supplementary text for existing Religious Educational programs. However, it was soon learned that it was much more than an additional text to be used in the classroom. The unpublished author of this work is the deeply religious spirit of the Lakota people. LAKOTA LIFE enables students at all levels, in or out of the classroom, to appreciate American Indian history, culture and spirituality.
