Apunta't a LibraryThing per saber si aquest llibre et pot agradar. No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Fun, in a quirky kind of way. The book is constructed in, basically, three parts: a handbook of "terms", followed by a listing of "forms", followed by a "brief outline of English poetry." Why something like "free verse" is considered a "term" and "blank verse" is considered a "form", I don't quite know. Or why "french forms" should receive an entry in each section. Indeed, Untermeyer is especially interested in "french forms", with his longest entries being for "ballade" and "chant royal" and siimilar such. Many examples drawn from poets you don't encounter much anymore, like Austin Dobson and Louis Untermeyer. ( ) Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
