This book was another recommendation from Read Aloud Revival (Sarah Mackenzie), and it did not disappoint! My kids (5yo & 3yo) thought this book was hilarious; I found it clever, cute, and beautifully illustrated. I appreciated the lessons learned as well, although I don’t want to add any spoilers. This book was a fun moral lesson as well as providing a chance to talk to my kids about all the hard work that goes into farming and harvesting crops. We even talked about hibernation! We definitely recommend this book. ( )
