I was buried, Buried on Avenue B, enjoying digging up the answers. Detective O'Hara is told by a "caretaker" that "Gus Henderson" stabbed his junkie buddy and buried him on Avenue B under a willow tree. When the area is excavated, the body of a nine year old is found. From there, the mysteries are dug from Avenue B. (

Solid, crisp mystery novel set in NYC. Police officer Darlene O'Hara is lead to believe that an aging criminal about to die has confessed in a lucid moment to the murder of his partner-in-crime years ago. This leads O'Hara to a neighborhood garden wherein a 10 year old boy's body is found, instead of the partner-in-crime and sets Darlene on the path of figuring out the story of this 10 year old boy.
