On the right of every page it gives four flaps for the child to guess which animal is similar. Then it explains why the animals are similar. For example, The bunny is on the left and the animal on the left is a fox. "How are they similar?" They are both mammals who are furry. ( ) Colorful pictures and engaging flip-the-flap pages draw in the reader to a world filled with different types of animals. This book provides easy to read, as well as understand, information on the classification of animals. The classes include: birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. This text, used in conjunction with "What Will I Be," are awesome resources for teaching. They teach make different reading strategies, such as making predictions and inferences. I recommend these books to anyone with a child or student in grades K through 3. This book teaches the different classifications of animals and allows children to make predictions. Also, children can match the animal that is like or similar to the other one using these prediction skills as well. I really enjoyed this book and used it for a science lesson. The kids were very engaged in the book and loved it! Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

A bunny is furry and breathes air. Who else is like that - a pigeon, a fish, a chameleon, or a fox? Some animals have fins to swim with, some have feathers and a beak, some have skin that is scaly, or smooth and wet. But whatever features a creature has, someone else has them, too. Can you guess who? Big flaps and a matching spread at the end make animal classification fun. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
