For such a short novella, this book really had my heart racing! I read it first so I'm very excited to move on and read the next two books! I'm hoping I get to see more about these characters in the rest of the story. ( )

AWESOME!!! Suki was my favorite character in Hunting Lila (after Alex, of course) and she was even more amazing here. Suki... and shoes. She was so funny, especially when checking out Jack and Alex. Too cute. ( )

When I first heard about Sarah Alderson writing a short story from Suki’s pov, I actually jumped up in excitement, the great thing about this book was that the release date was February, so I wouldn’t have to wait too long to wait to get another Sarah Alderson fix, also since finishing Hunting Lila I’d always wanted to get to know Demos’ group a lot more. So what a wish come true, not only would I get to know these awesome set of characters a lot more but from the perspective of someone within the actual group! Catching Suki tells the story up until Suki comes face to face with Lila for the first time, it provides a great back story to what exactly Demos’ group think of the unit, their crafty, but not so subtle techniques of gaining inside information on the unit and just another side of the group that we were never been able to see before.I really really liked Suki’s character, in Hunting Lila, I think I must overlooked her character (this may have been because of other distractions such as Alex) but this story provides an interesting insight into what she’s really like; she is actually really hilarious!“I see the smile twitch at the corner of his mouth. He looks less serious and less like a brain freezer when he smiles, which is about a once a month occurrence. I wondered at first what made Alicia go all Bella Swan over him because Alicia is as hot as any supermodel and Demos is no Edward Cullen.”I really liked seeing this different side of her. I also liked how this story allowed you to get to know other characters that we didn’t really see much of Hunting Lila such as Alicia and Nate.Again I’ve probably already said it before but I adore Demos’ group, the banter between them, the group dynamics, and a big part of me wished that I was part of their group too!I absolutely adored this short story; the only disappointing thing about it was that it was so short. I flew through the pages so quickly that I had a glum expression when I came to the sad realisation that I was already at the end!Thank you Sarah Anderson for writing this gem of a book, it has definitely got me more excited for the release of Losing Lila. August would you hurry up already.Favourite quotes: “I walk inside, throwing back my shoulders and striking a pose I should have patented because I saw it the other day on America’s next top model and they’d blatantly stolen it from me” “So you like a man in uniform then? Jack asks... maybe Alex can show you his weapon later then” “The unit might me out to get us but that doesn’t change the factthat they’re also very buff and two of them in particular are beyond buff- indeed they occupy a whole new federation of hotness. They are almost as hot as me. Only in a man way” “There they are. Lieutenant Jack Loveday and LieutenantAlex Wakeman. I’ve only seen their photos so far and the pictures that are in Demos’ head, but the truth is Demos did not do them justice. In fact, Demos’ head needs a tune up or a reboot or an entirely new operating system all together.” ( )
