A superb conclusion to an amazing trilogy.

This story outlines Solo’s background well, while also positioning him for his role in the original trilogy. Reluctantly heroic, Solo is repeatedly punished for doing the right thing, building up that veneer of cynicism we encounter in A New Hope. It can be hard to read at times for all the right reasons.

Additionally, the story sets up Lando, Jabba, Chewie, and Boba Fett. While also introducing some well-written original characters.

I warmly recommend the trilogy to any Star Wars fan. (

El Halcón Milenario es el montón de chatarra más veloz de la galaxia, por lo que cuando Han Solo consigue ganarlo en una partida de sabacc, él y Chewbacca se convierten en los reyes de los contrabandistas, imposibles de atrapar.
Pero con el Imperio aumentando su opresión a diario, Han sabe que su suerte no puede durar. Aun así, cuando un viejo amor que se ha convertido de un grupo insurgente rebelde le ofrece la oportunidad de hacerse con una fortuna increíble, Han no puede resistir la tentación. El plan parece perfecto.

Just OK. I got bored towards the end and was glad to finish. I skipped a lot of the Hutt stuff cos it was boring. Bit disappointing. (

And it turns out just as you expected, except you now understand all the little things about Han from the original movies that were never very clear. (

The tale begins with Han Solo acquiring the Millenium Falcon, the very ship that had been on the top of Han’s list since he first laid eyes on it. With the Millenium Falcon, he and Chewy are able to complete smuggling runs for the Hutt in record timing. Everything was looking up for Han Solo, until an old friend was reintroduced along with an offer too good to turn down. A. C. Crispin’s book three of the exciting Han Solo Trilogy, Rebel Dawn. As it ends, it also explains the events that led Han to the Mos Eisley Cantina. (
