Catty Jane Who Hated the Rain (edició 2012)

Catty Jane did not like rainy days. Catty Jane does not play when it rains. Her friends Piggy, Froggy and Goose came over to try and cheer Catty Jane up. Her friends explain why they love to play in the rain. Her friends wanted Catty to have fun even if its raining. So they had a rainy day party to distractes Catty from the thundering and lighting her friends sang songs and played music to distracts her. Catty was having so much fun that she realized that it wasn't raining anymore! They all went outside to play in the sunshine.
The questions I would ask are: Why is rain important? What do you do when you can't play outside? Are you scared of thundering and lighting? ( )

Jane, the little cat really hates rainy days because she is so bored of sitting inside. When her friends want to play outside in the rain with her she just refuses as she is so afraid of getting wet. But as her friends suggest a rainy-day party inside she becomes really happy and starts to enjoy rainy-days.
Nice story about how friends could turn the rainiest days to very funny party days. ( )

Valeri Gorbachev wrote a cute story about a little kitten who was afraid of thunder and lightning and hated the rain. Her friends come to his house and they are making a rainy-day party and even Catty Jane enjoys it. I like the topic of the story because I am sure many children can identify themselves with the little kitten. And maybe it can even help them to not being afraid of thunder and lightning anymore. The story is very nice and I also liked the illustrations. ( )
