( ) The Gargoyle on the Roof features a number of different poems about the supernatural, including one about a vampire shaving and one about a werewolf sister. What I like about this book is that the individual poems all focus on different things, but are tied together by a larger theme. Specifically each poem seems to take a humorous approach to a topic that could be in a child's nightmares. Genre - Poetry. I found that the brightly colored illustrations along with the fun text made for a great kid's poetry books. The poems varied in length with longer ones like "A Werewolf Of Distinction" which is about an aging werewolf to short ones like "A Vampire Speaks Of Grooming" which is about how a vampire shaves and combs his hair with no reflection. I think kids of all ages would love it: I know I did! It is the 2000-2001 Utah Book Award winner. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
