Some of these reinterpreted fairytales were entertaining, but the translation into legalese often took away much of the humour and narrative. The only one that I can really recall finding even vaguely amusing is the one in which the wolf who blew down the three little pigs' houses is put on trial for allegedly being a construction racketeer - and even it wasn't quite enough. ( ) Middle of the road book. There were some stories that were pretty funny. I feel that a lawyer would really get a big kick out of this one. What if you could take your favorite nursery rhymes and stories and translate them into court speak and depositions. Some situations are pretty funny. The first couple of stories were cute. After a while however, the premise gets boring. I mean, unless you had some vested interest in reading a law suit, how many of them would you be willing to read? It is entertaining, and I would recommend this book...but it certainly did not "Wow" me. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
This hilarious spoof on all the old classic fairy tales has a decidedly legal squint to it as for example when Prince Charming is prosecuted for sexual abuse after forcing several damsels to try on a glass slipper to satisfy his foot fetish. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
