This book collection consists of 23 poems. Truly, a traditional and contemporary works that express: the joy, sorrow, and excitement of childhood that is directly related to African-American families and culture. Not only this book relates to African American, but relates to all children of race. Every person in the world has a story that they have experience in life.
Personal Relations: I can relate to this book because during my childhood years, I have experience a time of grieving, happiness, and being spiritual uplifted by families and friends.
